Mold-Masters®, a leading global supplier of hot runners, controllers, auxiliary injection, and co-injection systems, has announced the availability of its new Integra production cell.

"At Mold-Masters, we are committed to pioneering innovative technologies that delivers value and transforms the market. Our focus is on continuously shaping our services and support to meet the unique regional needs of our customers, ensuring tailored solutions that drive success globally."

Hans Hagelstein, Mold-Masters Global President

Mold-Masters’ new Integra production cell, developed with our project partner Primaform, will be redefining injection molding for small part production. This optimized, high-performance solution takes a unique approach by eliminating the need for large conventional injection molding machines and semi-cold runner systems. Molders can expect enhanced molded part quality and increased productivity. Compared to conventional semi-cold runner systems, cycle times can be reduced by up to 25%, output can be increased with our high cavitation capabilities and eliminating cold runners can lower resin usage offering the potential for significant material savings.

Integra is a turnkey, all-electric production cell that incorporates Mold-Masters E-Multi auxiliary injection, hot runner, and various process control systems. All movements are servo controlled (injection, valve-gate, and motion). Servos provide precise, fast, reliable, and repeatable movements. Compared to hydraulic systems, servos are viable for clean room applications and consume less energy to operate than conventional hydraulic systems.

Mold-Masters Integra, and all other necessary equipment, is available single sourced. Single sourcing significantly simplifies the ordering process to reduce lead time and improve your time to market. It’s plug and play design can be delivered along with a site acceptance test (SAT). As this package eliminates the need for conventional injection molding machines, it is up to 80% more compact than conventional production equipment. The Integra cell will be available for order in October 2025 with rapid lead times compared to traditional injection molding machine cells. Integra, a unique solution new to the world of plastic injection.
