EcoONE-Series Seals the Deal on Several Lid Packaging Applications

A customer in India was looking to develop a new application to produce 80mm PP caps that were to be used on peanut butter jars.

Due to the low-price points of these caps, our customer required an economical solution. Normally, our customer would utilize local, low-cost hot runner products. However, Mold-Masters presented their EcoONE-Series hot runner system as it’s well suited for simple and economical commodity applications.

The customer evaluated this suggestion and ordered an EcoONE-Series 16-drop hot runner system as it was able to meet the criteria for the application.

As a result, the customer was very happy with the overall performance of the system. They were able to produce parts of acceptable quality, without any defects. From the success of this application, the customer has since ordered two more 16-drop systems. One for a 73mm cap and another for a 24mm cap.
